The Kapitan Khlebnikov is a polar-class icebreaker, typical of the type. It is one of a few vessels of its kind in the world.
The Kapitan Khlebnikov was built for the Russian Government in 1980 and refurbishment in 1992. No other vessel has navigated more polar waters and remote regions of the planet. It was the first ship ever to circumnavigate Antarctica with passengers.
Kapitan Khlebnikov has 54 first class outside cabin and suites, that provide passenger facilities necessary for excellent comfort. The vessel carries a maximum of 112 passengers. The cabins has a private bathroom and large windows. The suites have a separate sitting room, DVD and TV .
